La rivière est désormais une base arrière pour accueillir les kayakistes qui participeront au JO 2024 en kayak slalom. Ils pourront s’acclimater et planifier leur entrainement avant la grande épreuve qui aura lieu sur la bassin olympique à Vaires sur Marne en Juillet 2024.

Dans ce cadre là, la rivière artificielle a subi un sacré lifting : changement de tous les socles bétons pour installer 84 poteaux tout neuf et rééquipement en portes de slalom ASMO.
